Slaphead Shield
Awarded to the favourite beer of the festival. Dedicated to John Bodiam an Alton man who played a significant part in the revival of Real Ale in Alton.
Winning beers and ciders are voted for by you, the punters, who come and enjoy your favourite tipple. Voting slips are on the bar and will be brought around before the end of each session just add your favourite beer/cider and brewer. We tot up the votes from every session and present the trophy, which is engraved with all the winners at a celebratory lunch when the chosen good causes receive their cheques.
